Karen loves sharing her knowledge and warmly welcomes students to her spacious studio for one-on-one lessons or small-group experimental sessions.

These professionally guided sessions are tailored to the season and weather, offering both studio-based learning and adventurous explorations of the local landscape. Karen often takes students on ferry trips to nearby islands, providing a truly immersive Scottish experience amidst dramatic, wild scenery.

With a focus on skill and technique development, Karen's teaching follows a traditional approach, starting with lessons in shape, tone, colour, and composition. Each session is customized to match the student’s skill level, helping them grow their unique techniques and personal style.

Accomodation
Accommodation is available with training by negotiation on a B&B basis, all dates and times are customised to suit the individual.
​
A typical day would be 6 hours and a half day, 3 to 4 hours.
​
Tuition:
£145.00 per day per person (including a light lunch).
£75 per half day per person

Tuition with B&B Accommodation:
£ 215.00 per day per person
